Following the success of the gamification app developed as part of the ASOS Ascend project, ASOS asked us to expand the the functionality of the app, retaining the gamification elements for continued use in training and personal development events but adding the ability to use cross app authentication so that it could be used as a centralised access point to enable the launching of all of the software applications commonly used with the Customer Care sector.
The solution we provided incorporated all of the above elements along a web based front end supporting all of the app functionality and a browser configuration tool allowing users unfamiliar with the tools such as mySQLWorkBench to make changes and updates to the mobile app from an easy to use interface and push these changes to the app users in real time.
